Before joining NewEdge Advisors full-time in 2025, Scott spent 20 years serving as a pastor, a calling that shaped his ability to listen deeply, empathize sincerely, and help people navigate some of life’s most meaningful decisions. Those years prepared him well for his work today as a wealth advisor, where he continues to guide others with understanding, integrity and purpose.
Scott spends his days meeting with clients, developing financial plans, and designing unique investment strategies that align with each client’s goals. He believes money is simply a tool, one that, when managed intentionally, can help people live out their values and achieve what matters most to them. His mission isn’t just to manage wealth, but to help clients build a life of purpose and fulfillment.
Outside of the office, Scott enjoys supporting his wife, Amber, in her educational leadership career, cheering on his kids in sports, and keeping up with his energetic grandchildren. He’s passionate about travel, the great outdoors, pickleball, and training for his next half-Ironman event.
Originally from Omaha, Texas, Scott has called Beaumont home since 2016, where he and Amber enjoy being active in their community and family life.
